Before we get into the specifics of the soul contracts with children, the biggest takeaway I want you to take with you is that your relationship with your children is unique. There are no parenting experts out there. Please take your time to truly connect with the children you have (not the ones you wish or think you have) and go from there.

Now, let’s define the soul contract:  It’s a spiritual contract that souls make before incarnating into each lifetime. What’s in it depends on what the soul wants to learn and is informed by previous lifetimes and what was learned or not previously. The soul of a child before they’re conceived or born is called spirit baby.

The types of soul contracts with children

We often incarnate with the same group of souls even if roles may differ, so you and your child may have things to solve that were parts of previous lifetimes. Or it may be a brand-new contract. And other times, only the child chooses the parents while the parents are already in the physical plane. Every case is unique.

How to begin to understand your soul contract with your children

To give you an idea of how to start to see the soul contract in your relationship with your children, look at what emotions and wounds they are bringing to the surface. Children are healers because they have the power to trigger healing in mothers.

I’ll give you some examples based on my personal experience and work with my clients:

My postpartum brought my anxiety to the forefront, and I had to deal with it. My son came to heal my anxiety, but he also helped me find my soul mission, which is to help other moms heal.

I work with moms who struggled to have children and underwent IVF. Sometimes, the struggle was in the contract because the wait makes the relationship between mom and child more meaningful. Other times the mom needed this experience to help other moms who struggle.

Difficult children often come to overachievers and perfectionists that are hard on themselves to teach them to nurture their feminine side, throw away the parenting playbook, and listen to their intuition.

The healing role of soul contracts with children

The bottom line is that children usually come to heal a major pattern of the mother. If your children are bringing old traumas and wounds to the surface, look at them and see them as an opportunity to heal. And here, I want to mention a channeled message that I received regarding this topic. These are messages that I channel during meditation:

The soul contract with your children works together with all your other soul contracts. You can see this as an orchestra with all the different instruments that together create your unique soul signature. The harp, a gentle instrument that brings healing and harmony, is the soul contract with your children.

What to keep in mind when you work with a psychic:

We’re not meant to know everything about our soul paths while incarnated. Everything happens in stages and when it’s meant to happen. When you work with a psychic (choose well), this person will only receive what you’re ready to get at this time. Accept, honor, and embrace what you receive.

My work focuses on the mom, but I look into the soul contract with your baby in my 8-week mom coaching program for women transitioning to motherhood, and I can look into the contract with your children in my 5-week mom coaching program for moms (any stage) if you two have a challenging relationship.

I offer a free consultation call. I can’t wait to speak with you.
